As a resident of Detroit, Michigan, Nyhlaa has always been a strong fan of hometown heroes such as Barry Sanders and every member of the Detroit Bad Boys era. The influence of the Detroit Pistons may not be as strong as it once was before, but that does not wilt her passion of the game and those who represent the city while playing. She is a freelance sports journalist that barely bites her tongue and pushes the boundary of sports fact and opinion.

Life of Dumars Writer – Sean

I am  a professional journalist living in Lansing, Mich. I grew up following the Pistons, but was only 8 years old when they won the second of their back-to-back championships. I really started to understand the game in the post-teal years around the arrival of Jerry Stackhouse, Ben Wallace, Corliss Williamson, et al. I take pride in the fact that I championed the signing of Chauncey Billups before it happened and was sad to see him go.
