		<description>9 times out of 10, I would agree with you, but I think the Pistons are in a spot where they need to add any sort of legitimate big man they could find, even if it is not necessarily an efficient use of resources. 

The problem is that if this team is ever going to sort our this mismatched roster, it is going to have to have some sort of presence on the block, even if it&#039;s Dampier-level quality. 

With no big men to speak of, save the offensively challenged Ben Wallace, there is no way of knowing who can really play with whom, who has good chemistry, and who should move on to greener pastures. 

I don&#039;t think the Pistons will ever have a chance to see if Rodney Stuckey can develop into a passable NBA point guard, whether Charlie V. could be a serviceable starting PF on a playoff-caliber team unless he&#039;s next to a legit center, etc. I think they need a stop-gap while Monroe develops on the defensive end, and someone who will allow Monroe to utilize his talents in the high post so that he can be given a healthy dose of minutes.</description>
