Obviously, everyone in the organization thought they'd be winning more, but it seems to me that contending wasn't on the top of Big Ben's priority list. If he wants to stay in Detroit than you obviously don't make the trade, but if he does I think that's a direction you have explore. Obviously, you guys couldn't get a Lawson but you could get something to help you in the future (pick/young player/etc).
