Things are not going too well here in Pistonland right now.
– 8 game losing streak.
– 6 out of the 8 were of the double digit variety.
– Rotation is again in limbo because of Gordon, Rip and Tay returning, and all at about the same time.
– There’s a sense right now that the team isn’t giving full effort (Knick game was telling)
Trade rumors are circulating around the Piston fan base like an adult magazine among a bunch of middle school boys. It’s starting to get a little heated and sticky around metro Detroit. You know, heated and sticky because all of the frustrations building up over all [...]

Darko’s Christmas Gifts
This simply made me laugh a little.
This is the city line had a post back on the 18th of December about what Darko should have on his Christmas list.
The first two items…
1. That Deftones CD that has their cover of the Smiths’ “Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want” on it. It’s darker.
2. Gift card to The Black Angel. I don’t care for how much. Whatever. Like it matters.
Check out the link for the last three items.
Detroit Pistons Christmas Carols
Tayshaun Prince definitely had the most fun with his carol.
Rip was into it as well and wasn’t half bad either.
I hope Ben Gordon doesn’t go into caroling when his playing career is over.
(Hat tip- A Stern Warning)
LoD’s Most Impressive Rookies

Impressive Rookies
Tyreke Evans- Already a top 20 player in the league, looks like he’s not even trying–and he’s putting up 20, 5 & 5 every night. Kings got something interesting brewing there with Evans, Martin, Omri Casspi (quality rookie), Donte Green, Jason Thompson and maybe even Spencer Hawes.
Brandon Jennings- Has tailed off in recent weeks but is obviously way ahead of the curve in terms of what everybody was expecting from him [...]
Darko Milicic is leaving the NBA.
Darko, we hardly knew ya…
From James Jahnke of the Freep:
Just six-plus years after the Detroit Pistons made him the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft, Darko Milicic says he’s leaving the league.
“I don’t give a bleep about the money,” Milicic told the (New York) Post. “I just want to enjoy the basketball. I’d like to have the ball in my hands and have an offense run through me. I’m not just a defensive player.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Good luck with having an offense feature you as the number one option Darko.
And I thought Ruben Patterson was wack for referring [...]
