Joe,

First sentence.

You got a point with Mo though, definitely forgot about him, probably put him at #4 or #5.

Good catch.

Chris,

21st century- 01-current

Grant's last season in Detroit was 99-00.

If I had included him, I'd put him at #5.

Didn't see Grant Hill's name on the list anywhere. At his prime he definitely threw them down with authority.

Ditto for Darryl Dawkins. Didn't have his best game going as a 'ston but in terms of dunkers, there are few that were his equal.

honorable mentions:
Orlando Woolridge
Theo Ratliff
Terry Tyler
and
Amir Johnson

Come on... you can't make a dunk list without Jason Maxiell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDVgk6yKfJ4 I rest my case.

Also, what about Mo Evans? It was a short stint with the Pistons, but the guy had mad hops.

junkman,

See opening sentence.

If I would have included Maxiell, he would have been #2 on my list just after Ham.

I remember getting to the arena late for the game where Ben Wallace got the above dunk. As I'm getting into the arena, I'm practically running through the corridors to get my seat. There is a tv showing the action, and that Ben Wallace putback is the very first thing I see. Talk about getting pumped for the rest of the game! I'm not even at my seat yet.
The Pistons came back and won this game, my friends, playing very cooly and strategically, hitting daggers at all the right moments.

Lest we forget, Flip always flourished when Billups was injured ... he was a guy who got better with more minutes.

And did you see that Lindsey Hunter spin move? That may have been the nicest move he ever made -- and he missed the shot!
