Anybody catch Rob Parker on Sports Final Edition last night?
-
In Rob’s ever hilarious substance-less Clubhouse Confidential bit, Rob said something to the tune of the Pistons selecting Brandon Jennings at #15.
-
Does Wob really have inside information (like the Stones moving up to get Jennings-because Jennings aint falling down to 15) or is this a case of Wob just being Wob?

A player to keep on your draft day radar: Philadelphia City Paper via TrueHoop
Previous #15 selections
1995- Brent Barry- Pretty solid career, slowing down quite a bit recently
1996- Steve Nash- Guy can play a little
1997- Kevin Cato- The shot blocking beast was last seen in 07 on the Knicks
1998- Matt Harpring- Solid NBA backup still kicking
1999- Frederic Weis- never played a game in the NBA, but did get slammed on by Vince Carter in the 2000 Olympics
2000- The late Jason Collier
2001- Steven Hunter- Often injured backup to the backup center
2002- Bostjan Nachbar- No longer in the NBA but was a decent backup wing player for the Nets for a few years
2003- Reece Gaines- No longer in the league
2004- Al Jefferson- Averaged 23.1 ppg last season
2005- Antoine Wright- Made a nice career for himself so far
2006- Cedric Simmons- Still in the league but probably not for long (just 75 career games played)
2007- Rodney Stuckey- Future All-Star?
2008- Robin Lopez- Will not be as good as Brook but not a bad investment
Group as a whole is very mixed, but there is a lot to like. I doubt there is a Nash or a Jefferson in this season’s teens, but a Harpring, Barry, or Wright wouldn’t be bad.
